Salisbury Cathedral

The next day we went to Salisbury and spent a few hours walking around the Cathedral there. We saw a copy of the Magna Carta- another thing we couldn't take a photo of...

Later that same day we went to Stonehenge. That will be the next post.

So, enjoy Salisbury Cathedral for now.

This is the street we walked down to get to the Cathedral... so quaint. The old with the new.

Walking up to the Cathedral. What's so amazing is that these beautiful cathedrals were built by hand using hand tools! There are so sturdy- lasting thousands of years- and yet the details are so intricate...

I think that this is called the Nave.

One of two organs- they mirrored each other and stood across the isle from the other. They were huge and so pretty.

Outside at the cloisters- one of my favorite places.

So of course, I needed a picture of me there!
